“It’s been way too long since I’ve devoted an episode of this program to the piano trio genre and its wide repertoire range,” says The Classical Network’s Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler, who is the creator, producer and host of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning show Between the Keys. “So I’m making up for lost time, and I’ve put together what I think is an eclectic and stimulating play list that has something for everyone.”
Tune in Tuesday April 12th at 10 PM and Wednesday April 13th at noon for piano trio works by Benjamin Godard, Ludwig van Beethoven, Sean Sheppard, Helen Grime, Daron Hagen, Frederic Chopin, Antonin Dvorak, Johannes Brahms, Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari and Joaquin Turina.
