The Darkness Peering

Darkness, dreaming, peering, wondering, doubting and longing are just some of the states of being that somehow inform the selections on this week’s episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys, hosted by The Classical Music's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler.

The program's first half includes works by Vivaldi/Bach, Trent Hanna, Jacques Charpentier, Ferruccio Busoni, Frederic Chopin and Distler himself. The second half encompasses John Adams' minimalist masterpiece Phrygian Gates, performed by Emanuele Arciuli.

Tune in to Between the Keys this Tuesday at 10:00 PM, with a rebroadcast Wednesday at noon, exclusively on The Classical Network and WWFM.org
