This week’s episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys presents pianist Donna Weng Friedman joining the Classical Network’s Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler for music and conversation.
Ms. Friedman will preview two upcoming concerts sponsored in part by The New York Women Composers Inc., where she presents new works geared towards teen and tween piano students by Niloufar Nourbakhsh, Julie Mandel, Beata Moon, Stefania de Kenessey and Kim. D. Sherman.
The concerts take place in New York, Sunday November 12th at Bargemusic, and on Tuesday November 14th at Steinway Hall. Information for these events can be found by visiting bargemusic.org and steinwayhall.com.
