This week’s episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys offers something a little different.
The program is entirely devoted to the great American musical theater composer Richard Rodgers’ songs, as arranged and stylized by an eclectic group of keyboard masters including Meral Guneyman, Don Shirley, Cy Walter, Stephen Hough, John Bucchino, Art Tatum, Oscar Peterson, André Previn, Andrew Gentile, Fred Hersch, Dick Hyman and Dick Wellstood.
