On March 27th 1974, the Italian pianist Dino Ciani perished in a tragic car crash. He was just 32, and on the brink of truly establishing an international career.
This week’s episode of Between the Keys marks the 50th anniversary of Ciani’s death. The Classical Network's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler will feature some of Ciani's finest live and studio recorded performances, in works of Bach, Beethoven, Scriabin, Chopin, Rossini, Schubert, Schumann, Debussy, Bartok and Weber.
