"I don't feature chamber music as much as I should on this program," says The Classical Network's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler, and creator, producer and host of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys. "So I'm overcompensating this week!"
The iconic cellist Pablo Casals has the spotlight in classic live collaborations with pianists Mieczyslaw Horszowski in Bach and Wilhelm Kempff in Beethoven. French Horn legend Dennis Brain also will be heard in music of Schumann with pianist Gerald Moore.
