Pianists Alfred Cortot, Gabriela Imreh, Filippo Tenisci, Gabriele Baldocci, Geza Anda, Leslie Howard and the piano duo of Thomas Hitzlberger and Georg Schütz will be heard in Liszt’s brilliant transformations of works by Wagner, Schubert, Paganini, Berlioz, Beethoven, Chopin, Mendelssohn and himself.
