Who doesn't love Franz Schubert? He was music's first great lyric poet, and it's rather strange that The Classical Network's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler hasn't yet presented an all-Schubert episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys.

"I've been wanting to do a Between the Keys 'Schubertiade' ever since this program started," explains Jed. But somehow I've been putting it off for ten years! In any event, I'm making up for lost time, and I know that listeners will find these selections and performances rather irresistible!"
