This week’s episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys offers the final program three-part series featuring all of Franz Liszt’s Piano Etudes, with a different pianist in each work, and not repeating a pianist.
We’ll hear Liszt’s Il Lamento, Ab Irato and the Six Paganini Etudes, with pianists including Daniil Trifonov, Ruth Slenczynska, Sergio Fiorentino, John Ogdon, Vladimir Horowitz, Josef Hofmann, Marc-André Hamelin, Leslie Howard and others.
