In turn, The Classical Network's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler responds to some of these words in putting together his playlist for the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the keys this holiday weekend. Composers include Henry Cowell, John Cage, John Coltrane, Chick Corea, Margaret Bonds, Leonard Bernstein. Aaron Copland, Conlon Nancarrow and, of course, Jed Distler himself!
