On this week's episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys, The Classical Network's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler presents selections from piano concertos that he feels fall "under the radar."
"You always hear the same Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms and Rachmaninov Concertos in concert," says Jed. "But on recordings, we've got such a vast range of styles and works that deserve much more attention. So I hope that the music on this week's episode will inspire everyone's curiosity!"
Tune in to Between the Keys this Friday at 3:00 PM and Saturday at 6:00 PM to hear works for piano and orchestra by Milhaud, Martinu, Richard Rodney Bennett, Pierné and Britten, exclusively on The Classical Network and WWFM.org
