This performance at the Institute for Advanced Study from this past October welcomes back pianist and composer Vijay Iyer, as well as bassist Linda May Han Oh and Tyshawn Sorey on drums, who together comprise the Vijay Iyer Trio. The trio explores the line between jazz and new music, both composed and improvised. Composer David Lang, who is in the last year of his second term as IAS Artist-in-Residence, co-hosts with David Osenberg.
