When Joan Kimball and Robert Wiemken, founders and long-time co-artistic directors of Piffaro - The Renaissance Band, retired at the end of last season, they named fellow ensemble member Priscilla Herreid as their successor. In this concert, appropriately titled "Passing the Torch," Herreid curated a program of works from the 15th and 16th century by composers, their students, mentors and compatriots.
