Tempesta di Mare celebrates the works of 18th century German composer Johann Friedrich Fasch, a composer the Baroque orchestra has explored and championed for 15 years. Earlier this year, the ensemble performed at the 2023 International Fasch Festival in Zerbst, in Anhalt-Saxony, where Fasch spent much of his career, and was awarded the Fasch Prize. Tempesta di Mare Co-Founders and Artistic Directors Gwyn Roberts and Richard Stone join David Osenberg in hosting this concert broadcast, which will also feature a look at the ensemble's upcoming concert, "The Women Behind the Screen."
