The Merian Ensemble, five musicians from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, is dedicated to performing music by women composers, and this concert from March includes works by Price and Boulanger, as well as living composers Lawren Brianna Ware, Yuko Uebayashi, Lynne Plowman, Leilehua Lanzilotti and Nicole Chamberlain. Merian Ensemble harpist Elizabeth Remy Johnson joins David Osenberg as co-host, and the program also includes interviews with Plowman and Chamberlain about their works.
