Jean-Marie Zeitouni leads The Orchestra Now in works by Saint-Saëns, Berlioz, Fauré and other French masters this Friday (11/25 at 8 pm).

The celebrated Canadian conductor Jean-Marie Zeitouni makes his debut with TŌN in this program, which opens with Saint-Saëns’ Bacchanale from his opera Samson et Dalila. The concert also includes Berlioz's song cycle The Summer Nights, Fauré’s suite of incidental music for the play Pelléas et Mélisande, and Vincent d’Indy’s Symphony on a French Mountain Air. The orchestra is joined by soloists mezzo-soprano Megan Moore, a co-founder of the Lynx Project who has performed with the Metropolitan Opera, and Bard College Conservatory faculty pianist Ryan MacEvoy McCullough.

The Orchestra Now is a graduate-level training orchestra based at Bard College, led by Bard College President Leon Botstein.
