New Zealand-born conductor Gemma New also leads the New Jersey Symphony in Hector Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique, and warp & weft by the young American composer Sarah Gibson. New served the NJ Symphony as both the Assistant Conductor from 2009 to 2013, and then as the Associate Conductor from 2013 to 2016.
