Princeton Symphony Orchestra Welcomes Youth Orchestra Musicians in Season-Opening Concert

Members of the Youth Orchestra of Central New Jersey join the PSO for a new work on this concert broadcast Friday (10/11 at 8 pm), which also includes Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and Brahms's Symphony No. 4.

Music Rossen Milanov leads the Princeton Symphony Orchestra in the first concert of the PSO’s 24-25 season last month. The performance began with a work by New Zealand-born, Princeton-based Gemma Peacocke, a work she calls Manta, where young musicians from the Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey got to play alongside the members of the PSO. The program also includes two very well-known works - the young dynamic Aubree Oliverson is the soloist in the Violin Concerto by Tchaikovsky and final symphony of Johannes Brahms, the Symphony No. 4 in E minor.
