Music of Bernstein and more is featured on this broadcast Monday (11/25) of Dolce Suono's 'I Hate Music! Holiday Cabaret' from last December. (Hear the rebroadcast Saturday at 2 pm)

Our longtime partners - the Philadelphia-based Dolce Suono Ensemble, led by their founder Mimi Stillman - share this performance from last December featuring special guest artist soprano Ashley Marie Robillard. In addition to the song by Bernstein that gives this concert its ear-catching title we’ll hear music from his West Side Story, and from the musical Cabaret, as well as selections from Kurt Weill, Dvorak, Haydn, Saint-Saens and Delibes. Also on the program is music by Dolce Suono’s pianist Charles Abramovic, including his hilarious A Banana Symphony. Stillman joins David Osenberg as host for some much needed levity and lightness with the Dolce Suono Ensemble’s Holiday Cabaret.

David Osenberg is WWFM Partnership Manager, WWFM Music Director, Afternoon Host, and Host of award-winning Cadenza.
