In this concert, performed in November 2022, Concordia Chamber Players focus on music that the Nazis would have classified as "degenerate" - a term applied to music and other art considered decadent or harmful, often based on the artist's race or religion. On the program are the first masterful String Quartet by a teen-age Felix Mendelssohn, the String Quartet No. 1 by Alexander Zemlinksy and the String Quartet No. 2 by Florence Price. Concordia founder, cellist and Artistic Director Michelle Djokic co-hosts the concert broadcast with David Osenberg.
