The Classical Network welcomes acclaimed cellist and cello scholar Juliana Soltis this Friday for a live on-air performance Friday at 7 pm from Mercer County Community College's Black Box Theater. She will perform selections from Bach’s Solo Cello Suites on the various baroque cellos for which Bach composed these masterpieces, adding the ornamentation that Bach would have expected to hear from performers. Soltis will also share works for cello & piano from her latest recording called American Woman, with works by Amy Beach, Margaret Bonds and Helen Crane.
