On this broadcast of American music, The Knights and string quartet Brooklyn Rider perform music by Allison Loggins-Hull, the Mexican born singer/arranger Magos Herrera, Patrick Zimmerli, Osvaldo Golijov and Reena Esmail. The program also includes a work by Colin Jacobson, who co-founded both ensembles with his brother Eric, written in homage to American composer Ruth Crawford Seeger. The two brothers join David Osenberg as hosts.
