PRISM performs the world premiere of Zenón's El Eco de Un Tambor (The Echo of the Drum), which draws inspiration from rhythmic traditions from around the world, and some of the composer's other works for saxophone quintet. The program also features a some selections from Zenón's new jazz CD with his quartet recorded live at The Village Vanguard.
