The Philadelphia-based Baroque orchestra performs works written for Faustina Bondini - born into wealth and privilege - and Santina Tasca, who was abandoned and raised in the Venetian Ospedali orphanage - who were the superstars of their day. Soloists will be Gabriela Estephanie Solís and Meg Bragle. Tempesta di Mare co-founders and artistic directors, Gwyn Robert’s and Richard Stone, join David Osenberg as co-hosts.
There will be an encore broadcast Saturday (11/1) at 2pm.
