Sō Percussion Joins Princeton Symphony in Friday Concert Broadcast

The symphony performs works by Carlos Simon, Viet Cuong and Beethoven in this concert broadcast Friday (10/31 at 8 pm).

Music Director Rossen Milanov leads the symphony in this concert performed and recorded last March. Carlos Simon’s Four Black American Dances kicks off the program, and he'll share thoughts about his work on this broadcast. The concert also includes a Concerto for Percussion Quartet and Orchestra by Viet Cuong called Re(new) - about recycling and saving our precious earth - featuring the amazing New York/Princeton based So Percussion as soloists, and the performance closes by taking us out to nature with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 "Pastorale." Maestro Milanov and Sō Percussions Adam Sliwinski join David Osenberg as co-hosts of the broadcast.

David Osenberg is WWFM Partnership Manager, WWFM Music Director, Afternoon Host, and Host of award-winning Cadenza.
