Music Director Diane Wittry leads the Allentown Symphony Orchestra in a performance from its 75th Anniversary Celebratory Season recorded last month that harks back to its very first concert. The program includes music by Krebs, formerly thought to be Bach; Smetana, Tchaikovsky, Gershwin, Debussy, and Wagner. Fifteen-year-old Mio Imai is the soloist in the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto and a showpiece by Saint-Saens. Maestro Wittry joins David Osenberg as co-host.
