Music Director and longtime President of Bard College Leon Botstein leads TON in this concert recorded in February, featuring four 20th century works and C.P.E. Bach's Symphony in D Major, composed in 1776. Included on the program are Ulysses Kay’s Chariots; John Cage’s whimsical Suite for Toy Piano, both in solo performance by Frank Corliss and Lou Harrison’s orchestration; Stravinsky’s expressive Symphony in C; and Albert Roussel’s vivacious Third Symphony.
There will be an encore broadcast of this concert Saturday (4/3) at 2 pm.
