Stravinsky, Cage and C.P.E. Bach with The Orchestra Now Monday Night

This concert broadcast Monday (3/30) at 8 pm features an eclectic mix of works spanning 200 years.

Music Director and longtime President of Bard College Leon Botstein leads TON in this concert recorded in February, featuring four 20th century works and C.P.E. Bach's Symphony in D Major, composed in 1776. Included on the program are Ulysses Kay’s Chariots; John Cage’s whimsical Suite for Toy Piano, both in solo performance by Frank Corliss and Lou Harrison’s orchestration; Stravinsky’s expressive Symphony in C; and Albert Roussel’s vivacious Third Symphony.

There will be an encore broadcast of this concert Saturday (4/3) at 2 pm.
