Two performers take the stage in this concert, which opened this year's series at Manhattan's Symphony Space back in March. First, Miami-based pianist Jose Lopez performs music from Cuban and Cuban-American composers, and then cellist Sarah Kim plays works commissioned by and for her by women composers. The concert included the world premiere of a piece composed by series founder Victoria Bond, who joins David Osenberg as co-host for this broadcast.
