The Dress Circle: Sun + Moon = Eclipse

Calendar arts & crafts? That’s what we have on offer on this week’s Dress Circle (4/21 7:00 p.m.) with a program entitled Sun + Moon = Eclipse featuring songs from the musicals about the sun and the moon so that you can “build” your own eclipse!

We’ve really gone far afield this week and included songs from several sources that we’ve never featured before!

Our sun songs come from some very familiar works such as “Annie Get Your Gun,” “Me and My Girl,” “The Band Wagon,” “A Little Night Music,” and “Miss Saigon.”

Our moon songs, however, come from some works with which you might not be familiar.

They include “Rose Briar,” “Chee-Chee,” “Mike Batt’s The Hunting of the Snark,” Cirque du Soleil’s “Varekai” and “Sing You Sinners” along with several others.

It’s just a bit of fun to celebrate, albeit a little late, the recent eclipse that energized so many people, so we hope you’ll tune in, especially since we’ve included a few shows that we’ve never been able to use before!
