There are “dog” people, and there are “cat” people, and we are definitely “cat” people. To that end, this week’s Dress Circle (6/14 7:00 p.m.) will be taking a look at our feline and feline-adjacent friends as seen through a variety of musicals.
Our feline friends come from Disney sources like “The Aristocats,” “Lady and the Tramp,” and “That Darn Cat,” as well as another animated feature: “An American Tail.”
Our stage musicals include some feline and feline-adjacent songs from “Lotus Land,” “Drat! The Cat!”, “Lord of the Rings: The Musical,” “Goldilocks,” “Cats,” and “Radio Gals.”
We’ll even have a visit from Felicity Lott and Anne Murray in a duet by Gioachino Rossini!
