This week we feature Mario Lanza (1921-1959). His career was brief, but his legacy is remarkable. His recordings still sell well, and the inspiration he gave to many singers including Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo is well known. He truly had the gift of song, and the ability to make what ever he sang, be it opera, or Broadway or whatever he chose, his very own.
Join us this Sunday night, June 23 at eight o'clock, as we present Lanza singing arias, Neopolitan songs and more.
