Composer, conductor and commentator Rob Kapilow walks us through George Gershwin's iconic work this Friday (11/11) at 8 pm with an encore broadcast Saturday at 2 pm.

This latest episode of What Makes it Great takes on Gershwin's Rhapsody. Recorded live back in October at Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center in Midtown Manhattan, the home of ‘What Makes It Great,’ Rob welcomes the Manhattan School of Music Jazz Ensemble and the dynamic young pianist Terrence Wilson as they look at what makes this work great. You can hear it Friday at 8 pm with an encore broadcast Saturday at 2 pm.
