WWFM is saddened to learn of the death of Bliss Michelson. Bliss was WWFM's Production Manager and Morning Host from 1992-2011. He died in New Jersey Sunday, March 14 from complications of Covid-19. A respected, professional double-bass player, Bliss was passionate about classical music.
His on-air hosting was complemented by an in-depth knowledge of classical music and its foreign pronunciations in many languages. He was particularly partial to music from his Swedish heritage. He was also very fond of animals, particularly of cats and sheep. We will remember Bliss fondly. He was 71 years old.
