The Classical Network in Concert brings a live broadcast from Princeton this Friday (4/27 at 7:30 pm) of Benjamin Britten's War Requiem performed by the combined forces of the Princeton University Glee Club, Princeton Pro Musica, the Princeton High School Women's Choir and the Princeton University Orchestra under the direction of Michael Pratt. Soloists will be Sarah Pelletier, William Burden and Andrew Garland.
In this impactful work, Britten sets the traditional Latin Mass alongside poetry of World War I poet Wilfrid Owen. Follow the text here.
