IRIS Wired: June 14 - An Homage to Summer

It's the IRIS Orchestra on this week's Friday concert broadcast (6/14 at 8 pm). Artistic Director Michael Stern leads the Germantown, Tennessee-based orchestra in Hugo Wolf's Italian Serenade, Bela Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta, Charles Ives' Ragtime Dances, a new work by Iris Orchestra hornist and Memphis native Robert G Patterson called Oasis, and Antonin Dvorak's evergreen Wind Serenade.
