On this week’s episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys, The Classical Network’s Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler pays tribute to celebrated piano teachers who also happened to be fabulous pianists.

Featured artists include such luminaries as Frank Scott, Marguerite Long, Russell Sherman, Dimitri Bashkirov, Alexander Goldenweiser, Rosina Lhevinne, Howard Karp and Vera Gornostaeva .
