This week, the Classical Network’s Artist-in-Residence Jed DIstler welcomes the acclaimed Ukrainian/American pianist Inna Faliks for an hour of conversation and music on Episode 342 of the ASCAP Deems Taylor Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys.
In addition to music by Franz Liszt, Jan Freidlin, Rodion Shchedrin and Boris Pasternak, you will hear excerpts from Ms. Falik’s recent CD release "Reimagine Beethoven and Ravel," for which contemporary composers created responses to Beethoven’s Bagatelles Op. 126 and Ravel’s Gaspard de la nuit. From this project we’ll present new pieces by Peter Golub, Richard Danielpour and Paola Prestini.
