For the final program this month of Between the Keys surveying Beethoven's last five piano sonatas, The Classical Network's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler explores the composer's final sonata No. 32 in C Minor Op. 111, with a classic recording by one of the 20th century's great keyboard legends, Claudio Arrau. The program commences with Beethoven's very first piano sonata, No. 1 in F Minor Op. 2 No. 1, in a recording by the late Zoltan Kocsis.
