2020 marks the 20th anniversary of Iris Orchestra and Maestro Stern digs back in the archives for this program that includes a rousing Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody, a chamber Concertino by 20th century Italian composer Luciano Berio, a chamber orchestra version of the seminal Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun by Claude Debussy and an Iris commission 'Path of Echoes' by Chinese-American composer Huang Ruo. Also included is a December 2001 performance of the Symphony No. 7 by Beethoven from a concert that was supposed to have featured the maestro's father, the legendary violinist Isaac Stern, but he had passed away just a few months before.
