In a departure from the regular “PostClassical” format, hosts Bill McGlaughlin, Joseph Horowitz and Angel Gil-Ordonez explore the great German conductor Wilhelm Furtwangler's wartime broadcast recordings (1939-1945), just released in a 22-CD set + Book by the Berlin Philharmonic – and newly mastered using tapes seized after the war by the Soviets.
