Celebrating Our Musical Future- The Curtis Institute of Music

This program presents a recital performed by the Curtis 20/21 Ensemble. Music that crosses the intersection of politics and music with works by living composers David Ludwig, Jonathan Bailey Holland, David Lang and Nina Young and the rarely performed Ode to Napoleon by Arnold Schoenberg. Also, a setting of Walt Whitman by American composer Richard Danielpour performed at the farewell recital for a beloved Curtis faculty member and head of the vocal dept and Curtis Opera Mikael Eliasen.
