Vítězslava Kaprálová crafted her “Partita for Piano and String Orchestra” under the tutelage of her inamorato, Bohuslav Martinů (the couple pictured), and Zdeněk Fibich conceived his Symphony No. 2 as a musical reminiscence of the day he confessed his love to Anežka Schulzová, who became his muse and artistic collaborator. Life is complicated. It’s all very European, this Sunday at 10 pm.
