Upcoming JazzOn2 Programming Pays Tribute to 'Trenton Blues' Ron Ungarini

Carey Hamilton and Danny Coleman will host this tribute Saturday, Aug. 19 at 11 am and Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 5 pm.

Tune in Saturday, August 19th, starting 11am, as JazzOn2 pays tribute to Trenton Blues himself, Mister Ron Ungarini. The former host of Cadillac Blues passed away last month.

This eight-hour programming special, hosted by JazzOn2's Carey Hamilton and Danny Coleman, will feature some of Ungarini's Cadillac Blues shows along with tributes from local blues artists and family … and, some of Ron’s favorite music. Known as 'Trenton Blues' for his involvement in the Trenton Blues scene, Ungarini passed July 28th, at the age of 69. His JazzOn2 program Cadillac Blues, started in 2014 and ran through 2018.

There will be a rebroadcast of the tribute on Tuesday, August 22nd at 5pm … right here … on JazzOn2!
