Semifinal for Young Artists - pianists ages 7-17, who will perform Gershwin and other composers.

Each performance is 10 minutes long and includes miniature works, where technical brilliance, musical sensitivity, and temperament matter the most. Music does not know age, and these young talents will bring a tremendous show. Many of them have already won prizes and accolades at other music competitions.

George Gershwin was born in Brooklyn, New York. Therefore, this round pays tribute to the neighborhood as the birthplace of a great George.
