Join Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra for an evening of dynamic contemporary music at the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia as we perform works by the winners of our Kaleidoscope Initiative Call for Scores: Kevin Arthur Jr.'s "As They Dance in the Wind," Courtney Evans' "Cloud Sprawl," and Joshua Foy's "Couplet for String Orchestra"! We will also present Jessie Montgomery's Source Code, a moving piece drawing on African American spirituals, alongside original works by our very own Black Pearl musicians and Philadelphia-based composers: Luigi Mazzocchi and Ajibola Rivers.
