Candlelight Canticles: Baroque Music for Candlemas
Musicians of period instrument ensemble, La Fiocco, join the Senior Choir of First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen, NJ to present Vivaldi's Magnificat and Bach's Cantata BWV 157, linked by the ancient Christian festival of Candlemas. These works will be presented alongside William Corbett's Overture in D Major.
Soloists Sea Han, soprano, Kev Schneider, tenor, and Jared Swope, baritone, will be featured in the Vivaldi and Bach.
