Kantuta Concerts, Opus 3: Naren Palomino Pardo
Foundation for Bolivian Artists presents Naren Palomino Pardo in his New York Recital Debut. This program explores dance as a bridge between European tradition and South American identity through works by important 20th-Century composers. Featuring music by Villa-Lobos, Ginastera, Golijov, and Bolivian composers, pianist Naren Palomino Pardo highlights the fusion of folkloric and indigenous rhythms with classical forms. From the dialogue of the Bachianas Brasileiras to the vibrant colors of the collection “Acuarela Boliviana” and the monumental Piano Sonata No. 1 by Ginastera, the program celebrates the richness, diversity, and rhythmic vitality of South American music.
