Music at The Redeemer - Opening Benefit Concert
New Music Series
Church of the Redeemer, Bryn Mawr (230 Pennswood Road) launches its new music series on Friday, October 7 at 7:30pm. These monthly events are in collaboration with Artcinia, the Philadelphia-based organization dedicated to improving access to the performing arts by scheduling professional musicians to perform in neighborhood-based, non-traditional spaces for area residents. Each concert presented at The Redeemer will be replicated in an underserved Philadelphia neighborhood. This opening Benefit Concert & Reception presents chamber music including the Piano Quintet in A of Antonín Dvorák, the Violin Duo in G by Chevalier de St. George, and the Adagio and Allegro K. 80 for string quartet by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and featuring Luigi Mazzocchi, violin, Natasha Colkett, violin, Hannah Nicholas, viola, Glenn Fischbach, cello, and Thomas Weaver, piano.
