The excitement of our centennial season begins with Banner, a contemporary work by one of the most in-demand composers of today, Jessie Montgomery. Nimbus Dance adds dynamic original choreography to Copland’s Appalachian Spring; the iconic score is quintessential Americana with both celebratory exuberance and somber undertones. We close with superstar pianist Yefim Bronfman performing Rachmaninoff’s thrilling Piano Concerto No. 3.
