Princeton Pro Musica presents AMERICAN RESONANCE
Princeton Pro Musica presents AMERICAN RESONANCE
Join Princeton Pro Musica as we close our 47th season with AMERICAN RESONANCE in the glorious acoustic of the Princeton University Chapel.
This concert celebrates American composers, anchored by a trio of works written in the 1960s: Leonard Bernstein’s CHICHESTER PSALMS, Princeton composer Frank Lewin’s REQUIEM FOR ROBERT F. KENNEDY (1925-1968), which received its premiere in the Chapel itself in 1969, and Margaret Bonds’ ST. FRANCIS' PRAYER.
We will also be treated to a piece for solo organ by Princeton University Organist and longtime PPM collaborative keyboard artist, Eric Plutz.
Don't miss the kaleidoscopic sound world of American choral music, which is simply breathtaking in the resonant Chapel. We look forward to seeing you there!
